Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an individual to assist the Head of Operational Due Diligence Services develop a first class corporate travel program. This individual will be required to assess current travel program and institute changes that align with senior management’s strategic vision. The ideal candidate should have experiencing building a corporate travel program including procurement experience negotiating with travel vendors directly. 

Essential Job Functions

• Manage the processes to procure and renegotiate travel contracts with air, hotel, ground, and rail vendors to ensure that the company and its employees receive the best possible rates for desired services.
• Identify and implement enhanced services for GI’s travel program.
• Analyze employee travel and associated expenses and develop reporting to senior management.
• Identify inefficiencies in employee travel activity and propose changes to realign employees’ travel with GI’s strategic vision.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and training to sufficiently guide GI employees with the administrative processes surrounding corporate travel.
• Respond to travel questions and address travel issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of Corporate Services related experience.
• Master’s degree or certification in travel or hospitality a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong knowledge/experience with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate with third party vendors and internal stakeholders and management.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of operational processes for travel, including expense management.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
• Must be willing to address travel issues outside of normal business hours.

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $95,000 to $100,000.


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
