Position Summary

Guggenheim seeks a Client invoicing Associate to join the client invoicing group that supports the Investment Management business for us and globally based clients and is responsible for fee processing for approximately 300+ clients. The associate reports to the Head of Client Invoicing and maintains the quality control for calculating, verifying, and processing client invoices and new billing record set-ups.  Attention to detail is critical with a focus to deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

Part of one’s success will be cultivating relationships across the organization. A central skillset also required is exceptional communication & listening skills with the ability to ask pointed and open-end questions necessary to provide the correct responses to the client. The ideal candidate has an eagerness to learn and apply their knowledge; and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where it is important to prioritize and manage a multi-stream workload.  

 

The position is located in our New York City office

Essential Job Functions

  • Set up and maintain client account details and billing information in billing system
  • Maintain client account records: contracts/agreements, fee schedules, and other relevant documents
  • Prepare and review client invoices adhering to all procedures and policies
  • Review, compare and recalculate all internal and external fee calculations received
  • Act as the internal service contact on fee calculations, with timely response and resolution to inquires
  • Responsible for a control environment, running control reports, providing sign-off on check lists and following all Fiduciary and regulatory requirements
  • Compliance with SSAE 16 to ensure that proper controls are in place and adhere to procedures
  • Maintain and update databases and support files
  • Track and maintain status of aged receivables
  • Complete ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by Account Management and Finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in accounting or operational positions in the financial services industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (telephone and e-mail skills are essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accountability
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of working experience in client service invoicing
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in an accounting or operations position
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Excel user (for ex. macros, financial and lookup functions, and pivot tables)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and technical aptitude

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $95,000 and $105,000.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
