Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments (GI) is seeking an established and successful PowerPoint Designer to join our Marketing team. The PowerPoint Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and effective PowerPoint presentations that convey information in an engaging manner, align with GIs branding and support our firm’s business development efforts. This role will be based in New York.

Essential Job Functions

  • Create visually appealing and effective PowerPoint presentations, incorporating text, images, infographics, charts, and multimedia elements to convey information in an engaging manner.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and other internal stakeholders to refine and structure content for clarity and impact, ensuring that the message is effectively communicated.
  • Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Develop custom graphics, icons, and illustrations to enhance the overall visual aesthetics of presentations.
  • Design and maintain PowerPoint templates that are consistent with brand guidelines, ensuring a unified and professional appearance for all presentations.
  • Translate complex data and statistics into clear and compelling visual representations, such as charts, graphs, and diagrams.
  • Ensure consistency in design elements, fonts, colors, and layouts across all slides and presentations.
  • Review presentations for accuracy, design quality, and adherence to branding standards
  • Stay current with the latest presentation software tools to optimize the design process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  • Conduct competitor research to evaluate, develop and improve existing product campaigns/programs, while working with GI Marketing team to ensure brand consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, and produce design for presentations as well as digital and print applications is a plus

Basic Qualifications

  • Portfolio of presentation design samples
  • F.A. in design, communications, or related field with 4+ years of professional design experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Proficient with PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs, as well as Adobe Creative Cloud applications (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Proven experience of design work for multiple audiences inside financial services or related industry
  • Exceptional project and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working in a sales-driven, multi-channel, distribution environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $100,000 and $105,000.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
