Position Summary

This position provides a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, evolving, and fast paced team. This role will directly report to the Head of RFP Team and gain exposure to the process behind sourcing and maintaining new and existing business, globally. This individual will have the opportunity to be mentored and manage multiple RFP’s (request for Proposals) and DDQ’s (Due Diligence Questionnaires) for prospective and existing clients. The individual to assume this role will act as a liaison between colleagues around the world (Americas, Europe, etc.).

The RFP Specialist position is in Guggenheim’s New York City office. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in production of high-quality RFPs and DDQs in coordination with sales and client service personnel.
  • Maintain and enhance database processes, queries, and automation.
  • Manage to internal processes and deadlines across multiple contributing teams.
  • Develop strong working relationships with sales, client service, investments, legal, compliance and administration groups to ensure that the content within the deliverables is accurate and responsive to the questions
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the firm’s strategies and product offerings
  • Update responses to standard language within the RFP database
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and positioning across channels and regions.
  • Identify, escalate, and implement process improvements and enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive, high-pressure environment
  • SQL understanding preferred
  • Experience having completed ESG DDQs
  • Desire to learn and become a strong individual and team contributor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, Economics, or similar major
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Word
  • 4 + years completing RFPs and DDQs experience
  • Strong understanding of fixed income, equities, and alternatives with a focus on Core Fixed Income; High Yield, Bank Loan, and Structured Credit desirable.
  • ESG knowledge
  • Experience in asset management

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $115,000 and $125,000.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
