Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join the office of the Co-Presidents. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Manager (SAM), this person will join a collaborative and fast paced team responsible for day to day office and administrative support. In addition to strong organizational skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize. The successful candidate will have experience with all aspects of administrative support and be comfortable interacting with senior staff, as well as external clients, in an ever-changing environment.

 

The position is located in our Darien, CT office and may require occasional travel to our New York City office.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide administrative support to office of the co-presidents
  • At the direction of the senior administrative manager (SAM), manage the co-president calendar
  • Collate and present meeting requests accurately to the SAM for approval, including escalating urgent requests
  • Ensure necessary participations have been invited and accepted
  • Set up zoom calls as needed
  • Answer telephones and respond to email messages, giving appropriate information to callers or route call to designated official
  • Working with other staff members in the office of the co- president(s) to arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
  • Scheduling domestic and international business travel with the ability to anticipate problems; coordinate hotels/meetings/meals
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matter expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on items to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in an administrative support function in a similar environment
• Confidence and excellent communication skills required to interact well with clients and senior management
• Ability to work within a team to resolve issues with minimal disruption to office operations
• Ability to be successful in a stressful, deadline driven environment while maintaining a strict attention to detail and prioritizing issues appropriately
• Ability to travel as needed and to be on call during off hours, including nights/weekends
• Reliability and dedication; a hands-on professional with a can-do attitude and willingness to perform a multitude of responsibilities as needed

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $85,000 - $95,000


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
