Position Summary

Exciting position within the Portfolio Research & Analytics Team.  The Junior Product Analytics Specialist will serve as a source for competitive and industry intelligence and analysis, primarily for the Marketing, Sales and Investment Management teams. They will help compare and position Guggenheim Investments strategies to peers and the broad industry while providing direct support for Marketing & Sales with data to support content creation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Working under the direction of the Head of Product Analytics, the analyst monitors peer and industry competitive data and tracks and analyzes proprietary Guggenheim products
  • Handle day-to-day internal requests from the various sales teams and others including Strategic Partnership Group and Research Due-Diligence
  • Expertise with Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet and Morningstar to deliver thoughtful data-driven analysis of our products/strategies and competitors
  • Develop and deliver portfolio performance and attribution analytics to Marketing, Sales, RFP Services and Investment Teams relevant and timely data and analysis tailored for each constituent
  • Helps the Product Marketing team develop sales ideas, pitch books and presentations for external sales and client use.
  • Assists the Product Marketing team with the execution of marketing content by delivering the needed data and analytics.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key business partners in Investments, Distribution, Portfolio Managers, and Legal / Compliance
  • Work closely with Sales team to assist in sales process by answering client and advisor requests and questions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills including excellence in graphing and charting.
  • Attention to detail a must, with keen quality control ethic.

Basic Qualifications

  • A/B.S in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related fields.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional project and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and comfortable operating at various levels within the Guggenheim organization.
  • Experience working in a sales-driven, multi-channel, distribution environment
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $90,000 and $95,000.

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
