Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented individual to join the Financial Planning & Analysis Team. This position is responsible for the functional administration and maintenance of the Workday Finance Application. This role will also support FP&A, Accounting, and Finance Operations reporting out of Workday.
This position reports to the Head of FP&A and liaises directly with Finance, Accounting, IT, and auditors.


This position is offered as fully remote

Essential Job Functions

• Perform as the Workday subject matter expert embedded within the FP&A team, supporting financial consolidation, GAAP reporting, management reporting and forecasting
• Function as the steward of financial data for Finance and Accounting.
• Develop and maintain Management and GAAP financial reports and dashboarding within Workday and Adaptive
• Execute the Workday and Adaptive financial close process
• Collaborate with administrators and users of other systems to ensure Workday is up to date with new external metrics and data
• Accountable for ongoing enhancements and refinements to Workday and Adaptive business processes, workflows and system configurations to support evolving business needs
• Maintain metadata, business processes, data models and systems configurations for Workday Finance and Adaptive environments
• Work with Workday administration team and users to review and test quarterly upgrades.
• Fulfill Workday-related requests from Internal and External Audit teams
• Support other areas of Finance with special requests and ad-hoc projects including reports and analysis for Senior Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and problem-solving skills
• Analytical reasoning skills and experience with financial analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and eager to learn, collaborate, and work in fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Excel.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology
• Functional and/or Administration experience with Workday Finance
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $110,000 and $125,000.

 

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
