Guggenheim is seeking an Operations Associate/Senior Associate to join the Loan Data Integrity team.  This individual will report to the Director of Loan Data Integrity team and be responsible for the creation and maintenance of security master templates in Wall Street Office and Aladdin databases. The position requires close interaction with various parties including portfolio managers, traders, analysts, rating agencies and other operations functions. This role will involve working in a dynamic team environment and presents opportunities to utilize interpretation and problem-solving skills in support of Loan Data Integrity team objectives and initiatives.  The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in bank debt and fixed income securities.

The Operations Associate/Senior Associate role presents an opportunity to join a team that sits at the ‘hub’ of Guggenheim Investments at an exciting time of growth and evolution at all levels of the company. The position is located in the New York office.

• Create and maintain security master templates in Wall Street Office and Aladdin databases
• Perform quality control of setups to ensure consistency with third-party data providers
• Serve as liaison between private funds, analysts and rating agencies to facilitate private ratings and credit estimate processes
• Create reports for internal and external market participants
• Provide support for portfolio managers and sector specialists ensuring accuracy of data
• Oversee the process of building and maintaining benchmark assets
• Maintain bank loan and high-yield default and recovery track records
• Complete ad hoc projects as needed

• Organized, detail oriented and extremely thorough with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of CLOs and/or other structured products is a plus
• Knowledge of Wall Street Office, Aladdin, Excel, and Bloomberg a plus

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-5 years of relevant work experience
• At least one year of bank loan related experience is required
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Must be computer literate

Annual base salary between $90,000 and $95,000.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­New York office at least 4 days per week.
