Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an experienced Marketing Database Analyst to manage its third-party institutional marketing and consultant databases.  In this role, you will ensure that all product and firm profiles are maintained and updated in eVestment and other critical database platforms. You will proactively find opportunities to improve and evolve current profiles and collaborate with various teams across the firm to ensure accuracy of database content. An essential part of the business development process, you will work directly with consultants to respond to ad hoc requests and questions on data, and you will continually analyze intelligence to find and assess potential opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the population of marketing and consultant databases as assigned (i.e., eVestment Alliance, Mercer GIMD, Broadridge, Wilshire, Morningstar, etc.)
  • Proactively ensure all product profiles are maintained and updated across databases; continually seek opportunities to improve profiles
  • Monitor how the firm is positioned in databases versus peers and identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with various teams across the firm to ensure accuracy of product profiles and to create and evolve content
  • Using tools and reporting available within each database, analyze intelligence on missed opportunities
  • Ensure data quality control by working with internal and external reporting tools and troubleshoot data issues that may arise
  • Work with vendors support teams to resolve database issues as needed
  • Produce database reports as requested and drive the development of ongoing database reporting needs
  • Serve as subject matter expert on database use
  • Respond to external inquiries from consultants, database users and database support to answer question on data and updates to data.
  • Act as the database liaison between investment consultants and Consultant Relations teams for external information requests
  • Update Salesforce with relevant information for new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Business Development teams, Consultant Relations, and RFP teams to uncover new business opportunities where a database is used in addition to or in lieu of RFP
  • Work closing with RFP team on qualitative messaging in databases
  • Help complete and streamline quarterly DDQs from consultant databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enhanced problem-solving abilities, analytical abilities, and familiarity with investment concepts
  • High
  • Strong knowledge of investment management databases, the RFP process, and consultant questionnaires
  • Familiarity with eVestment tools including Omni, CRM systems such as SalesForce
  • Ability to meet deadlines, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Technical skills should include experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance or Business)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and positive work ethic
  • Demonstrated initiative and personal sense of ownership for high-quality work

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $100,000 and $110,000.


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
