Guggenheim Investments is seeking a highly qualified IT professional to work with and report directly to the Co-Presidents. This position will be primarily responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues for senior executives as well as working with the IT department to spearhead new technology initiatives across the firm. This individual will need to be creative and able to problem solve in a fast pace environment.
This position is based in both our New York and Darien, CT office locations and is on-site 5 days a week.
• Provide onsite all-inclusive, white glove IT service to executives of the Office of the Co-President
• IT services for the Office of the Co-President include, but is not limited to:
• Providing a solution for all firm-issued IT equipment, including office IT equipment (desktop computer, monitor, printer, phone, video conference equipment, etc) and mobile devices (phones, laptops, iPads, etc);
• Providing a solution for all personal IT equipment that access or connect to firm-issued IT equipment, database, or weblinks;
• From time to time, providing IT service concerning personal equipment.
• Resolve break-fix problems, deploy new hardware installations and manage migrations and transition to new hardware effectively.
• Identify, resolve and escalate IT issues where appropriate to leadership or other IT teams to ensure the issues are resolved with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure the highest levels of stability, performance, and uptime for supported services.
• Available by phone during non-office hours, including on the weekends, on time-sensitive issues.
• Recruit, train and oversee junior staff based in Guggenheim Investments’ NY, Chicago and LA offices, such that they can serve as a seamless back up when the Executive IT Service is not physically available.
• Develop and maintain executive IT support documentation.
• Design and implement new technology standards and manage the entire hardware life cycle of executive devices.
• Expert knowledge of IT hardware, including operating, maintaining, supporting, and repairing devices when needed.
• Ability to build strong business relations with IT colleagues within the business and understand Guggenheim’s IT landscape and promote best interests of the Co-President.
• Ability to understand and anticipate the IT needs of C-suite executives of a financial services company.
• Expert knowledge and ability to manage seamless connectivity across a wide range of technology platforms (Windows, MacOS, iOS).
• Expert knowledge across a wide range of business and finance applications (Workday, Monday.com, Bloomberg, etc).
• Available on-site 5 days a week in Guggenheim Investments’ Darien or NYC office, depending on the need of the Co-President.
Annual base salary between $160,000 to $175,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
