Position Summary

Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional, experienced Associate to join its Telecom & Digital Infrastructure team with the Telecom, Media and Technology (“TMT”) Investment Banking group located in New York.

With offices in New York and London, our Telecom & Digital Infrastructure team is a market leader within the sector, with strong relationships ranging from large cap public companies to middle market private companies and everything in between. The team has a long history of executing high profile M&A transactions and other capital markets advisory projects for the world’s most important telecom, networking, fiber, broadband, cable, towers, datacenters and edge / artificial intelligence / machine learning infrastructure companies, as well as financial sponsors and other sources of financial capital.

We advise clients on various types of financial transactions and strategic advisory projects, including mergers & acquisitions, equity & equity-linked capital markets and debt capital markets transactions, joint ventures, balance sheet management, and other bespoke strategic & financial products. Our approach to clients focuses on building deep, collaborative, and highly value-additive relationships with a view to becoming long-term trusted advisors to executive teams, corporate development teams, and beyond.
We are a highly entrepreneurial team centered around a collaborative, partnership-driven culture enabling professionals at all levels to build strong technical, leadership, and client facing skillsets.

Our broader New York-based TMT Investment Banking team is an integral component of Guggenheim’s investment banking strategy, and a fast growing team of professionals who are focused on driving market share across each of the telecom, media and technology verticals.

Our Associates play an integral role in evolving and enhancing our client relationships and are active participants throughout the life of a transaction and beyond. Our Associates benefit tremendously from the experience and partnership they have with our Senior Managing Directors, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and Analysts. We pride ourselves on the dedication we give to our Associates development, which in turn helps assist in supporting and cultivating our growing team of Analysts. We work to constantly assist in developing our Associates marketing, sales, analytical, and communication skills.

We aspire to continuously refresh and cultivate a culture of Innovation, Diversity, and Inclusion. In a client services business like ours, our team members are the product, the service, and the offering. We will provide best-in-class Investment Banking training—formal and hands-on—as you continue to develop your professional toolkit: M&A process management, business acumen, financial analysis, data analysis, soft-selling and presentation skills, professional communication (verbal, written and virtual), negotiations, and more. We believe Associate development is critical to our strategy, and this role is seen as a career-track position.
