Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a candidate to join the Loan Data and Reconciliation team.  This individual will report to the Reconciliation Manager and will be responsible to reconcile cash, positions, and certain data attributes in the Wall Street Office and Aladdin portfolio administration systems. Close interaction is required with internal and external parties including Traders, Client Service Support, Custodian/Trustee Banks, Fund Administrators, Legal Counsel and Credit Analysts. This role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and further develop bank loan industry knowledge,. The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of bank debt and fixed income securities.

The position is located in the New York office.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reconcile cash and positions with external parties and across internal systems
  • Process activity in Wall Street Office and Aladdin databases
  • Research breaks
  • Serve as liaison between administrative agent banks and custodians
  • Support the Reconciliation team’s objectives and initiatives
  • Complete ad hoc projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office, Aladdin, and Bloomberg
  • Skilled at working across diverse groups in a collaborative, dynamic team environment
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and manage large sets of interconnected data and information
  • Ability to design, document and assist in implementing processes
  • Organized, detail-oriented and extremely thorough with strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to collaborate with internal teams and external clients and service providers
  • Knowledge of CLOs and/or other structured products
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time to complete deliverables timely and accurately

Basic Qualifications

  • At least one year of bank loan-related experience and an understanding of bank debt and fixed income securities
  • Undergraduate degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in investment management or financial services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced and challenging environment

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $85,000 and $95,000.


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
