Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a leader who will coordinate ESG and CSR initiatives internally and externally. This includes coordination among senior leadership stakeholders, organizing internal trainings and assisting with relevant RFP responses. The role also involves overseeing the collection of data for PRI reporting and staying abreast of ESG-related regulatory and industry developments. Additionally, the position involves coordinating CSR employee engagement programming, managing internal and external partnerships, contributing to management of CSR initiatives, and overseeing the GI business unit charitable contribution process. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with current/former/prospective partner organizations and managing CSR and ESG related internal and external communications.

 

This position will be located in the New York Office.

Essential Job Functions

ESG:


• Coordinate ESG initiatives internally
• Coordination among senior leadership stakeholders and with the ESG governance structures (SSC and ESG Oversight Committee)
• Organize internal trainings and talking points on ESG
• Assist the RFP team in relevant RFP responses and review
• Oversight of collection of data for PRI reporting and preparation of PRI report Industry organization membership and engagement
• Stay abreast of ESG-related regulatory and industry developments, products and Guggenheim terminology
• Stay abreast of ESG-related industry developments, including product demand
• Work with sector teams to determine application of ESG and consistency across sectors where appropriate
• Work with PCG and PMs to determine level and method of ESG integration
• Work with Legal and Compliance to determine impact on/need for internal policies/procedures

 

CSR:


• Coordinate CSR employee engagement programming and manage all related internal and external partnerships
• Serve as CSR point of contact for Guggenheim Investments CSR
• Contribute to management of CSR initiatives (e.g., Charitable contribution reviews, volunteer events, guest speakers, etc.)
• Contribute to CSR Team internal day-to-day operations, including weekly team meetings, reviewing all internal and external client-facing materials, etc.
• Review competitors CSR activities and keep the Co-President team apprised on suggestions that might add value to our program
• Work with the GI Commitments Team to approve GI CSR related commitments
• Coordinate with the GI events team on events and speakers
• Produce Annual CSR plans including GI Charitable Contributions, along with Annual Budgets for approval
• Provide oversight and quality control over GI business unit charitable contribution process
• Coordinate with Brand Management on annual impact report
• Maintain relationships with current/Former/Prospective Partner Organizations including; Manage the firms relationship and assessing opportunities and following up with former CSR recipients to assess impact, maintain a tracker of impact and update contact database of recipients. Maintain an organized share drive of firm photos and event notes for history and important anniversary events
• Manage CSR and ESG related internal and external communications with assistance, including CSR Oneguggenheim page/content, Guggenheim gives, internal memos, social media, Guggenheim Investments Website etc.
• Regularly review and provide recommendations to our Media/Marketing/Website team to promote the firms CSR/ESG Activities and impact

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachlor's Degree
  • At least 7 years experience with CSR/ESG; preferably within Financial Services

Salary Details

Annual base salary between $160,000 and $170,000.


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
