The Desktop Support Technician 4 will perform a variety of support activities including but not limited to the remediation of desktop computer issues, the installation of desktop computers, and the support of desktop computer users with their hardware and software needs. They will both resolve tickets in an incident management system and work on various projects and deployments as required. In addition, they will work on projects to test and evaluate software and hardware; may be the lead on some projects.
The Desktop Support Technician should be able to solve problems of moderate to high complexity without help and escalate very complex problems to more senior staff. Be knowledgeable about and apply company policies to customer requests.
This role will be on-site between both the NYC office and Darien, CT location. The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation to and from both NYC/Darien offices as overtime hours, weekend hours, and on-call hours are required as well as in cases with minimal notice.
